Nicole King's Testimony
The Promised Land...Does such a place exist, where there is an end to the battle over your weight? The answer is YES! Hello, my name is Nicole Hatchett. I am twenty-eight years old, from Houston, Texas, and just like so many other African-American women, I fought a losing battle over my weight for years. Although as a child I was very thin, I began to put on large amounts of weight in college. After several unsuccessful attempts to shed the unwanted pounds, including dieting and exercise, a friend introduced me to the Weigh Down Workshop. I learned many life-changing principals that come straight from the Word of God. As a result I have lost over seventy pounds and have gone from a size eighteen dress to a size four! However, the physical weight is just the tip of the iceberg. My relationship with God has grown incredibly. I have learned to seek Him in all things, from food to finances, and He has blessed me immeasurably. I can say to you today that no diet, no exercise regimen, no appetite-suppressing pill, can give you what you are looking for. There is a Promised Land. I know because I have found it through the Weigh Down Workshop, and so can you!
