Mindy Muñoz’s Testimony
(In English and Spanish)
My name is Mindy Muñoz and I live in Denver, Colorado. When I was invited to a Weigh Down Diet class a few years ago, I was told it would transform my love for food or any other stronghold, to a passion for God and His son Jesus Christ. Because of what I’ve learned through Weigh Down, I’ve surrendered my will to God and He has allowed me to go from a size twenty-two to a size six, all for His glory. The most beautiful thing I have learned is obedience to God. Losing the weight was the icing on the cake. I had been full of pride, control, praise of men, lack of submission, and an unfaithful heart towards anything or anyone. I’d always thought that what was around me was the problem, but the problem was within my heart. I went from thinking only of myself, to loving and serving God, then my husband and children. There is peace in my home and my children fear God and serve Him with all their hearts. If God has transformed this family He can change any family. Please join us in this amazing journey out of Egypt, through the desert, and finally into the Promised Land.

Mi nombre es Mindy Muñoz y vivo en Denver, Colorado. Cuando fui invitada a una clase de la Dieta Weigh Down hace unos años, fui informada que esta clase transformaría mi amor por la comida o cualquier otra atadura, en una pasión por Dios y Su hijo, Jesucristo. Debido a lo que he aprendido por Weigh Down, le he rendido mi voluntad a Dios, y Él me ha permitido bajar de una talla 22, a una talla 6, todo para Su gloria. Lo más bello que he aprendido es obediencia a Dios. Perder el sobrepeso fue la guinda que corona la torta. Yo había estado llena de orgullo, control, la aprobación de los demás, carencia de sumisión, y un corazón infiel hacia todo y todos. Siempre había pensado que el problema estaba en todo a mi alrededor, pero en verdad el problema estaba dentro de mi corazón. Fui de pensar sólo en mí, a amar y servir a Dios, luego a mi esposo y mis hijos; hay paz en mi hogar; mis hijos temen a Dios y le sirven con todo su corazón. Si Dios ha transformado esta familia, puede cambiar cualquier familia. Por favor, únase a nosotros en este maravilloso viaje fuera de Egipto, a través del desierto, y finalmente a la Tierra Prometida.
