Joaquin Sanchez’s Testimony
Along with my wife, Heather, I too was very much overweight. I tried the popular diets, low-fat diets, high-fiber diets - even tried going to the gym. I never realized that food was an idol in my life until I basically started watching the pounds fall off my wife. Then, through Weigh Down and by giving God my food portions, God began to take the pounds off. How truly Awesome God is! He took fifty pounds off this body! Not only did God deliver me from the stronghold of food, but also from financial problems, debt, sexual sins, greed, self-focus, and pride. How merciful our God is. If God can take the weight off and deliver me from so much, I know He can do the same for you!
